A tandem is a wonderful way to efficiently explore. The rider on the back can kick back and relax, watch the landscape, take photos, make snacks etc.. You are your own slipstream on a tandem and it must be tried. It is wonderful, especially on an upright tandem like this.
These particular bicycles are part of a parnership between Winnipeg Trails and VIRN (Vision Impaired Resource Network) and were purchased by VIRN to support regular rides pairing sighted riders with persons with visual disabilities that make them unable to ride independently.
