The panic snap is an essential piece of your kit when skijoring, rollerblading or doing canicross with your dog.
In an emergency situation, it may be necessary to quickly release yourself from your dog. Using a panic snap allows you to pull the sliding locking joint back, allowing the line to be released. This mechanism works even under tension.
If you would rather have the panic snap attached to the belt as opposed to the line, use a carabiner and put it through the belt clips and attach to the panic snap. This allows the lines to be connected to the quick release mechanism.
Ideal for skijoring, canicross, rollerblading, snowshoeing and hiking.
