Another pristine sea foam Gazelle Maxinette, this time with an overhauled Sachs Spectro T3 internally geared 3 speed hub with coaster brake and Sturmey Archer drum brake at the front. We added a new sidewall dynamo system and lights—all internally wired, a new saddle, our favourite grips, a NOS gripshifter, and a new set of Schwalbe Marathon PLUS tires for ultimate flat-protection.
While this is a 52cm frame, it uses 24x1-3/8" wheels (wheelchair size and easy to find replacements), effectively putting your feet closer to the ground, while retaining a standard wheelbase and handlebar reach. This is great for someone shorter that wants to be able to have good contact with the ground while maintaining a properly adjusted saddle.
